Since the launch of this song, Taylor has been diagnosed with MDS, and the leukemia cells found in her last biopsy have progressed. It is most likely that she will be admitted to Children’s National Medical Center in DC on Monday June 21, where she will undergo surgery on Tuesday to have a double lumen broviac place in her chest and 5 days of high-dose chemo will begin Wednesday. She will not get to go home and recovery from this round of chemo, which hopefully will only take 4 weeks. The hope is that this round of chemo will kill off enough leukemia cells to less than 5%.
